FAQ

What is Wireless Charging?
With wireless charging, power is transferred via electromagnetic induction. While traditional charging requires the power to pass through a cable, inductive charging receives the charging power wirelessly through electromagnetic fields. So no need for wires! All you need to do is lay your Qi-compatible device on the AirUnleashed and you're ready to go!

What is Qi?
Qi (pronounced: ‘’chee’’) is a global standard like Bluetooth, NFC, USB and WIFI. Its name comes from the Asian philosophy and means ‘’vital energy’’; an intangible flow of power. All devices with the Qi logo are compatible with Qi chargers. So no need for different cables and plugs for different devices.

What will I need to use the AirUnleashed?
Apart from a Qi-compatible device you will need a USB wall charger (which we offer in store as well).
The AirUnleashed requires a QC 2.0 or higher USB wall charger with an output current of minimal 2A at 5V (10W). The default iPhone Adapter has a maximum output of 5W and is therefore not compatible with the AirUnleashed. Use the iPad Adapter or an other third-party charger that has a 2A charging port or add our QC 3.0 USB Wall Charger to your order.

Can I charge multiple devices with the AirUnleashed?
Yes, yes and yes! That's three yes's for three devices. There are two areas for your iPhone and your AirPods (or two iPhones), and one dedicated area for your Apple Watch. You can charge all three devices simultaneously.
The right coil is specifically designed for the AirPods and is therefore smaller with a lower charge than the left coil. It is possible to charge an iPhone on both left and right coils, but the smaller right coil will charge your iPhone slower than the left.

Is the AirUnleashed compatible with my non-Apple devices?
The AirUnleashed is designed for and tested on Apple devices. However, any Qi-compatible device can be charged by the AirUnleashed.
